Hi there,
This is just to let you know that we had a fantastic 2 night stay at your apartments. All your staff were really friendly and helpful and the apartment was clean, bright and very spacious.
Thanks in particular to your staff at reception, I think one was called Andrew and the other one was the Polish guy (sorry, I don't know his name), who were both polite and very helpful.
The muffins and the coffee bar were fab too!
I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends!

We have just returned from a short break at the Royal Garden Apartments and would like to share with everyone how fantastic they are. They are immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. They are situated in the heart of town. The staff could not be more helpful, sharing with us their knowledge of the best places to go and at the best prices.

We were absolutely delighted to stay here. A joy, so central, across from the Portrait Gallery - so comfortable. Generous touches - muffins, coffee, glasses of wine and lots of room for my 3 children. They used the dvd library and thankyou so much for the teddy bears.
We usually stay in a hotel in Edinburgh - but not any more!

Thank you for your excellent hospitality - I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The royal Garden Apartments. Both the flat and garden were lovely and the touches like milk in the fridge and wine were very much appreciated. (So much better than an hotel!) Even before we arrived, the entire staff were helpful, gracious and accommodating.
To say that we were incredibly pleased at the accommodations themselves is a huge understatement. The rooms were beautiful, the space to spread out was the ultimate in luxury and for two weary travellers, being able to sit on the sofa, turn on the television and enjoy a glass of wine was heavenly.
Each and every member of your staff that we came in contact with went out of their way to ensure that our stay was perfect and if we are ever fortunate enought to travel to your lovely city again, we will definitely stay at the Royal Garden Apartments.

I have just looked the apartments up again to possible stay for a second time. And thought I would take the opportunity to add my comments. I stayed here with 10 friends, in two apartments, one being the penthouse suite. We had a lovely time, the apartements were light, clean and lovely. We all really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend these apartments as a good base for Edingburgh.

On behalf of five moonwalkers, I would like to thank everybody at the Royal Garden Apartments so much for making the whole experience a lot more pleasant than it could have been!
I found on booking our nights accommodation, Stuart was friendly and obliging. On arrival, Anna was great and the fact that you let us use another apartment to shower and rest our weary limbs was greatly appreciated. Thank you for arranging that.
To top it all when we did get into our apartment it was the Penthouse! So comfy we didn't leave the apartment until 8.30 that evening!
So often on booking accommodation you are disappointed, but everything was faultless with our recent stay with you. Thankyou.
We certainly hope to be back to stay with you and perhaps bring the family next time. The husbans feel left out although we doubt they would be tough enough to "moonwalk"!

We spend two nights at the Royal Garden Apartments in a high-ceilinged, beautifully furnished apartment. (Other reviews correctly describe the amenities; the convenience of the free do-it-yourself laundry can't be emphasized enough, however.) The staff is great and could not be more cheery and helpful: as others have mentioned, Maureen and Brenda stand out for special mention.
This place is an excellent value and well situated for the visitor, being close to Waverley Station and the attractions of Hanover and Princes Street and a short walk to the Castle, the Royal Mile, Grassmarket, etc.
I will go out of my way to stay in Edinburgh again (maybe foregoing exorbitant London altogether), and Royal Garden Apartments will be my choice of lodging without a doubt.

For our British friends we tend to resemble a cross between VICTOR MELDREW and MRS BOUQUET in quite how fussy we are regarding our high expectations for holiday accomodation. However, we are delighted to say the Royal Garden Apartments were exceptional!! We were given a free upgrade once the staff found out it was a trip to celebrate our anniversary.The apartment oozed historical character and charm- and was just about the size of our house at home! (ONE TIP IS ASK FOR A GARDEN VIEW AS THESE ARE EXTREMELY QUIET). The carpets were rather tired and in need of replacement and a larger douvet for the huge SuperKing sized bed would have been nice - but this would be unfair to focus on as the apartments were like stepping back in time!! For any American readers desiring Scottish charm - this is the place for you (unless you prefer to be miles away in one of the $500 a night castles outside Edinburgh).The staff could not do more - especially the delightful Maureen and Brenda!! BEAUTIFUL!! (the hotel and the staff!!) We did learn that an American family had been staying at the apartments for 6 months and were very envious!!Please can we move in??!!

Stayed at Royal Garden Apartments – great value for money! We were a group of six girls and shared a two bedroom Apartment with a sofa-bed in the lounge. We could all get ready to go out at the same time as there was two bathrooms and we could all have a nice takeaway meal together in the lounge. It would have been impossible to do this in a hotel! The service was great and the apartment was really clean and tidy. We didn’t need any taxis or buses to get around as it was such a fab location.! I really do urge people to stay here – a truly wonderful hotel!!
